If your system settings is missing in Ubuntu

After I installed fresh copy of Ubuntu 14.10 on my machine I had only few settings on my settings panel, and I went like this for months. But it was child's play to fix this. I found command this from internet.

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

basically it re-installs Unity (Desktop environment of Ubuntu I guess). And you don't even need to restart and you have everything back.
